Since the late 1880s, the automobile has been a part of our lives. We have babied them, polished them and watched over them as if they are a part of our family. And perhaps they are. Before the automobile, we had the horse. He was a good and solid form of transportation in his time. But the motor car made our lives so much easier and more comfortable and plus, we could get from point "A" to point "B" a heck of a lot faster.
But after awhile, even the automobile got bland for some. Not satisfied with the mear styles offered by the manufacturers, we as a people took it into our own hands to re-style, change and alter the looks and performance of our cars to suit us. This is where racing and customizing began.
But for some, this even wasn't enough and they tried going beyond the auto concept into their own little "Twilight Zone" of sorts.
This blog is dedicated to those folks who couldn't leave well enough alone and just had to exercize their ability to create something that none of the rest of us would want parked in our driveways. Here's to you, Mr. & Mrs. Stylemasters. You'll never get a job in the design departments at a big auto company. But thank you all for making us laugh and our lives somewhat more pleasent.
These pictures are in no particular order and are not limited to cars only. All vehicles are "open season" on this blog.
